Earle Mack School of Law Competitions

The Earle Mack School of Law has created a new competition that offers students a unique opportunity to test their skills in deal-making and negotiating business matters.

With our Transactional Lawyering Meet, now in its third year, students interested in transactional law gain the kind of experience that future litigators have received through mock trial and moot court competitions.

The format of the meet consists of teams of two drafting a transactional agreement followed by negotiation with the opposing team. Judged by distinguished practitioners from law and finance firms, as well as general counsel offices in the region, teams are evaluated on their success in achieving the goals of the parties to the transaction.
