ABC News, WHYY Quote Professor Robert Field on Health Care Costs
November 9, 2011 — ABC News quoted Professor Robert Field in "Chronically Ill Adults in U.S. Worse Off than in Other Countries," a report detailing study data comparing health systems in the U.S. and other nations.
In "Attention Walmart Patients...Healthcare in Aisle 4?," ABC News also featured commentary from Field regarding the chain's plan to establish primary care clinics in its stores.
Both articles were published on Nov. 9.
On Nov. 4, Field was quoted in "Health-Care Costs of 'Dual-Eligibles' Draw Budget-Cutters' Attention," a report by WHYY/Newsworks.org on the escalating costs associated with Americans enrolled in both Medicaid and Medicare.
Professor Field is a nationally recognized expert on health policy and public health law whose research focuses on ethical issues in managed care, public policy and legal facets of health care reform and genetic screening. He holds a joint appointment as professor of health management and policy at the Drexel School of Public Health.
