Professor Robert Field Pens Article on Public Funding of Pharmaceutical Industry

Professor Robert Field’s article, “How the Government Created and Sustains the Private Pharmaceutical Industry,” has been published in the Saint Louis University Journal of Health Law & Policy.
The article argues that the highly profitable pharmaceutical industry has been built on a foundation of large government programs, including research funding by the National Institutes of Health and quality oversight by the Food and Drug Administration.
Field is a nationally recognized expert on health policy and and health law.
